NV TRANEXAMIC ACID LOTION
NV Tranexamic Acid Lotion is a product with a moisturizing and velvety texture, which spreads easily and has a pleasant aroma. This product contains the active ingredient NV Tranexamic Acid, which is tranexamic acid nanoencapsulated in lipid particles with a particle diameter greater than 200 nm. Encapsulation using Nanovector technology allows for the stabilization of sensitive and complex components that are difficult to formulate in their free form. As a result, NV Tranexamic Acid Lotion offers a powerful whitening action and is recommended for the treatment of melasma and the prevention of skin pigmentation induced by UV rays.
The product works significantly to lighten the skin because tranexamic acid inhibits the conversion of plasminogen into plasmin, a substance that is released by the skin in response to aggressions, such as sun exposure and inflammation caused by acne. Plasmin, in turn, stimulates the production of inflammatory factors, which increase the production of melanin. By inhibiting it, tranexamic acid reduces the production of melanin, providing a lightening effect on the skin. Studies demonstrate that plasminogen is responsible for increasing the activity of melanocytes in vitro, and that blocking this effect may be a mechanism to reduce melasma hyperpigmentation. Therefore, tranexamic acid has been studied as an effective alternative in the treatment of melasma.
MELASMA
Melasma is an acquired chronic hypermelanosis, characterized by brownish patches on skin exposed to the sun, mainly in the frontal and malar regions. It is a condition that affects both sexes, being more common in women, especially pregnant women, and in individuals with high skin types who live in areas with high ultraviolet (UV) radiation. UV radiation is an important factor, as it can cause the peroxidation of lipids in the cell membrane, leading to the release of free radicals that stimulate melanocytes. Furthermore, melasma can also be influenced by genetic factors, hormonal therapies, cosmetics, phototoxic drugs, endocrinopathies and stress, among others.
