NV Nails
V Nails is a natural antifungal blend containing essential oils encapsulated in lipid nanoparticles. In addition to increased stability, nanoparticles are formed by strategic materials, as they are nutritional sources for microorganisms, resulting in a "trap" system, where the fungus, when degrading the capsule, comes into contact with the antifungal blend. The blend of NV Nails active ingredients acts synergistically as a natural antifungal.
The fat-soluble nature of essential oils and their constituents allows interaction with cellular structures that have a lipid formation, The fat-soluble nature of essential oils and their constituents allows interaction with cellular structures that have a lipid formation, resulting in increased permeability of membranes, which can cause electrolyte imbalance and cell death. Studies have shown that essential oils penetrate the tissue around 100 times faster than water. This high capacity to permeate membranes gives phenolic compounds such as eugenol (major clove component) antimicrobial activity, promoting the rupture of the membrane and increasing its nonspecific permeability, generating a leakage of cellular contents and subsequent death of the fungi.
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
Clove Oil
clove essential oil has proven activity against isolated onychomycosis fungi such as Candida albicans, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Aspergillus Niger, among other fungi such
as Fusarium oxysporum, Penicillium sp. and Trichoderma sp.
Cinnamon Oil
The three cinnamon oil components which have been identified as antifungal agents are Cinnamaldehyde, o-methoxycinnamaldehyde and eugenol. This oil has intense antifungal potential against dematiaceous fungi and against Candida species, in addition to acting as a
strengthening aid, assisting in nail growth.
Melaleuca Essential
Oil
Melaleuca essential oil is a potent antifungal, and its main compounds are cineole and terpinen-4-ol. Cineole acts as a marginal effect antimicrobial, i.e., it is an irritant to the skin which increases the permeability of the membrane to facilitate the entry of other antimicrobial agents. Terpinen-4-ol holds the mainantimicrobial activity as it alters the membrane fluidity and permeability, causing structural damage to the cell walls and fungal membranes, compromising the cellular integrity of these microorganisms. It has high permeation power being able to eliminate subcutaneous infections and promote rapid results.
Lavender Essential Oil
Lavender essential oil has fungistatic and fungicidal activities. The main lavender oil components are linalool and linalyl acetate, which inhibit the formation of germ tubes and elongation of hyphae in Candida albicans, reducing the progression and spread of infection.
