NV Melaleuca ECO is an active compound of multifunctional particles that contains tea tree essential oil. The active ingredient is recommended for use in anti-acne products.

NV Melaleuca ECO is an active ingredient encapsulated in lipid particles with a particle diameter greater than 200nm.

The input consists of tea tree essential oil encapsulated with the technology developed by Nanovetores, which allows the stabilization of sensitive and complex components to be formulated in their free form, preventing the oxidation of the active ingredient and the release of unpleasant odors. Due to its characteristics and the non-existent dermal irritation, NV Melaleuca ECO can be used daily to control oiliness and reduce acne.

The main component of tea tree essential oil is terpen-4-ol, which according to studies, is responsible for the antiseptic and antimicrobial actions that occur through a leukocyte activation mechanism. Its antimicrobial action includes fungi, yeast, gram-negative bacteria and the herpes simplex virus.

Tea tree essential oil can cause allergic reactions in predisposed individuals; these reactions are caused not by the oil itself, but by byproducts of the oxidation reaction that occurs when the oil's components are exposed to light and oxygen. The encapsulation of the active ingredient promotes controlled release and protects it from interaction with the other components of the formula and the environment, preventing oxidation and nullifying its potential for skin irritation. Encapsulation also promotes the occlusion of the characteristic odor of tea tree essential oil, ensuring an improvement in the sensorial of the final product.
